EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Anne Larson is the founder of Hopes and Dreams Therapeutic Riding Center.  She has extensive experience in dealing with all facets of equine services.  She has been teaching horseback riding to able bodied students for fifteen years.  She is a current member on good standing with the American Quarter Horse Association Professional Horsemen's Association.  She carries three able bodied riding instructor certifications, her North American Handicapped Riding Association Instructors Certification and her Equine Assisted Growth and learning Horse Professional Certification.             Contact Anne

RESOURCE COORDINATOR

Donna W. Gustafson talents became available to us after Rancho Vista Equine Therapy Center in Fort Collins, Colorado closed their doors.  Donna was the Manager of Volunteer Staff for six years at Rancho Vista.  She was fundamental in building Rancho Vista's volunteer and client base.  Holds a bachelor of Science Education degree from Kent's State University in Ohio.  Has 40 years horse experience, thirty of which are as a 4-H leader.  Her dynamic personality allows her to interact with virtually everyone.  Her basic philosophy is lots of kids, riding lots of horses, lots of times.  She brings to our table years of experience in education and an intense passion for kids on horseback.  She is actively engaged with various professional organizations to effectively utilize the skills, abilities, and resources of volunteers, organizations, and the community to benefit Hopes and Dreams Therapeutic Riding Center's riders and programs.  

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Maria E. Kopper has lived in the Cheyenne area since 1982. She holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Wyoming. Areas of special interest to her include developmental disabilities, behavioral disorders affecting children, enabling the physically disabled to live full and complete lives, filial (family) therapy and drug treatment. She has worked in vocational rehabilitation and most recently child welfare and the juvenile court system. She has experience with non-profit organizations with specialization in volunteer coordination, fund raising and grant development.  Contact Maria

Shellie Larson is a Colorado and Wyoming licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She has over 11 years experience working with survivors of trauma.
